CHERITON GROVE APTS.:

AABA’s senior housing complex located on 20 Cheriton Road in
West Roxbury contains 60 affordable apartments. This
facility is a first-class building, which is closely managed
by our designated management company – The Community
Builders, Inc. and monitored by an experienced house
committee of the Board of Directors. For more information

AABA RADIO: |
ABBA
has it’s own radio program, where we bring you the best
in Arabic music. AABA radio broadcasts The Arabian
Nights program every Sunday morning from 9:00 AM to
10:00 AM on 1330 on the AM dial. We’re proud of our disc
jockeys and thankful for our sponsors. This is your show,

CHERITON HEIGHTS: |
AABA
is working with the City of Boston and HUD to further
develop land we own to construct a new 90-unit mixed income
senior housing development. This proposed facility will
provide 80 affordable apartments for seniors and 10
unassisted rate apartments for seniors. Stay tuned! |

DAY TRIPS: |
AABA
arranges and subsidizes several summer trips to many
wonderful locations throughout New England. The seniors of
AABA have always enjoyed these trips with their fellow AABA
friends and family members. Join us and you too can enjoy
the sites of New England! |

GOLF TOURNAMENT: |
AABA
sponsors an annual golf tournament in another effort to
raise money for the Cheriton Heights Senior Housing
project. The event is usually held in September and is
reasonably priced. Visit our web site or listen to our

CHRISTMAS PARTY: |
AABA holds an annual
Christmas party in which attendance is open to everyone, so
join us for a good meal and enjoy our scheduled
entertainment. It’s a great time for everyone! |

SCHOLASTIC AWARDS: |
Our
belief in the importance of education is exemplified by our
continued support of scholastic awards programs. Through
the Nicholas G. Beram Veteran’s Association and the
Syrian-Lebanese Women’s Club, AABA supports our high school
seniors pursuing a secondary education. We currently award
three (3) $1,000 scholastic achievement awards each year. |

FOOD CERTIFICATES: |
The
generosity throughout the year by our members allows AABA to
provide food certificates to our affiliated churches, where
they are distributed to anonymous needy parishioners. AABA
is fortunate enough to distribute $2,500 in of food
certificates around Easter and again around Thanksgiving. |

DONATIONS: |
As
an umbrella organization for the Arabic community, we
frequently make donations and support other charitable
efforts. This is all done under the watchful eye of the
Board of Directors. |

DUES: |
Annual dues are $10.00 per person. Membership is open to
all of Arabic heritage or a spouse thereof. We depend on
the dues as means of income to support our programs and
activities. We welcome you! |
